The "Old Guard" will have the entrance and lobby before the secure area covered. Watching the comings and goings of the various players is a most interesting aspect + I get to keep mine.:D

Have had some most enlightening conversations out there too.
I wonder if poindexter will have another meltdown and inform the judge that there are armed men outside:uhoh:  I hope a very large amount of people attend in support of Skidmark.

Not scolded, just a request to honor the wishes of the principals most directly involved.

User has asked that neither guns like that nor long guns be used in any effort to show support for this case. The thinking is not to the legality, but to the practicality of chancing to irritate the judge and upset the local citizenry who has been very helpful.

Hope you can make the trip.

Sorry I wasn't clear - I was only talking about empty holsters inside that part of the building which the Judge designated as "courthouse". Outside, carry 'em if you got 'em, as far as I'm concerned, though of course without any "shameful or ostentatious display" which the Supreme Court says is an element of the crime of "brandishing".

My intent was to see what kind of attitude the holster got...

Would they call it a weapon itself?

"WTF is that?"

I guess I was just thinking about efficiency. A trip to VA would be my chance to OC anything at all... It would be inappropriate to create yet another experiment in the midst of one already taking place.

I'll just stay home so nobody gets nervous...

That is definitely not the intent.

Think User has clarified.

Would enjoy see the various accouterments - might even squeeze in some range time.

Ed, I think he was just wanting to keep the thread on top - perhaps not recognizing that it had been stickied. Traffic/posting has quieted some, but I expect it will gear up again before the actual trial date.

Without question, no one is forgetting about this one. Donations continue to be received.

There is a LOT going on behind the scenes.

"bump" is what someone does to get a thread back to the top of the list, but they really don't have a thing to say..........

Exactly, plus for those who browse forums using the button "posts since last visit" it brings it back across their radar. Plus maybe it will bring in a few more donations for the cause.

Is there still a need for $$ in this case?

Yes, until the fat lady sings. Obvious consideration here is that time is money and time is the only tool that the CA has wielded.

In this case justice has not been swift.

Thx for that , Q. Every bit helps. Skidmark has indicated an interest in setting up some type of legel defense fund with any leftovers, if any.

You guys in Michigan have had issues of your own. I gave my small part.

I live in Lansing, have a CADL card, and was involved in that case. The appeals will set precedent in MI. Thanks for your help.

PS. More help needed. The appeals case promises to cost big $$.

I gave until it hurt, sorry man... If I stumble upon some more cash, you'll be sure to get some of it.

Does that make me a Socialist? Do I have to vote for Hillary now?
