I will leave the font alone to conserve space. I really don't know where to begin, but after a conversation I had with a friend today; I have to get it out.
I will probably start a s**t storm and get flamed, but oh well.
I see the Mich. forum heading into a self destruct mode. It seems no one can post anymore without the armchair quarterbacks jumping in with a flame job on how "they should have done it". I have seen this issue growing more common in the year + that I have been a member and it really puts us in a bad light for a group supposedly out to educate and inform the un-informed. It appears as members learn, they tend to think they now know the best way for someone to handle any situation that may occur.
WRONG! Unless you were there and involved, don't profess to know what the "Best" way to handle the issue is! Hind sight is always 20/20 and never very useful after the fact. You may have noticed, I haven't been posting as much in the last few months; save the occasional update for the talk show. It has been because of this issue of the second guessing that's going on. The most recent being with members who OC and get second guessed when they post their experience (myself included). If they are posting their experience and not asking for ideas on how they may have handled it differently...SHUT AND KEEP YOUR QUARTER BACKING TO YOURSELF! If you truly think they made a mistake...PM them and discuss the issue. Then if the OP wishes to expand on it in the posting...so be it..their choice.
We all have good intentions and mean well to educate those who need it. We are all hopefuly aiming for the same goal...un-restricted rights of the 2A.
Why then are so many pages of a post being used up discussing how someone "SHOULD" have handled the situation. I gave up even reading most post. There's not much in them except "You should have", "Why didn't you", or "You should'nt have" comments. And with this size font, it's not worth reading it with my old eyes.
I guess I'll jump off the box for now. Maybe this will make a difference, maybe not. If not I may resolve to just be another fade away and lurk till things get better.
