This is what happens on an unmoderated site. A few will push the limits. Nothing will happen. They will push farther and farther. Eventually some other(s) will tire of it—and the lack of consequence for bad behavior—and push back. The lack of moderation will swing both ways.

Anarchy does not work. Some level of governance is necessary. That is kind of one of the founding ideas of our nation.

You know that you have the power to remove yourself from this forum. But based on you crying out for a Mod tells me you, yourself does not have the willpower to take control of your life. If your work offers medical services, you should not hesitate in taking advantage of it.

YOU can stop this if YOU will stop making jerk posts. John can stop this by stepping in and moderating. It is ironic that you decry my posts (that respond to your attacks), yet you don’t agree that this site is in need of moderation.

As I said before, there are a few things that will stop this:

1. You and the other troll stop trolling.

2. The site owner (and any staff he chooses) starts moderating the off-topic attacks, the trolling by you and another, and, yes, even my responses to the trolling.

As long as you or the other troll keep it up and there is no moderation of your behavior, I will continue to criticize your behavior AND the lack of moderation at this site.

You can stop this any time you choose. I am no longer of a mind to try to avoid confrontation because I know that you and the other troll won’t stop even if I do.
